The Stone Town Rockerz hail from Zanzibar, Tanzania where they emerged from the renowned Dhow Countries Music Academy. Soon after their creation they were shared with the world at the famous Sauti za Busara music festival. Their music brings together influences from across the continent ranging from Afrobeat and Highlife to Fusion and Taarab music. Through their relationship with American based Producer Bill McKinney their songs have been recorded and brought to you for your listening pleasure. Please enjoy the musical journey offered by this important and ever evolving band.
